VISITS OF OUR WEBSITE

The server used for the operation of our website is configured so that no personal data of visitors is processed. IP addresses are only processed for the technical delivery of the retrieved data and are only stored for this duration.

We reserve the right to activate log files to the necessary extent to defend us against attacks against our website for the duration of the detection and defense of the attack, to determine the IP address used for the attacks against our website and to defend against the attack. The IP address is a unique numerical address under which end devices send or retrieve data to the internet. Unfortunately, there are frequent cases of attacks to cause damage to the operators of websites or their users (e.g. preventing access, spying on data, spreading malicious software (e.g. viruses) or other illegal purposes). Such attacks would impair the proper functioning of the computer center of the company commissioned by us, the use of our website or its functionality and the security of visitors to our website. By processing data in this way, we are pursuing the legitimate interest of ensuring the functionality of our website and fending off unlawful attacks against us and visitors to our website. The legal basis for the corresponding processing would be with activation of the logs Art. 6 para. 1 f) GDPR. The stored IP data is deleted when it is no longer needed for the detection or defense of an attack.

CUSTOMER ACCOUNT

When you create a customer account, we process the information you provide to us to create and manage the account and to enable you to use the services associated with your customer account. The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 b DSGVO. If you create a customer account in order to conclude a contract with us, the legal basis for the corresponding processing of your data is also Art. 6 para. 1 b DSGVO.

These data are stored until the deletion of the customer account. If we are required by law to store the data for a longer period of time (e.g. to fulfil accounting obligations) or if we are legally entitled to store the data for a longer period of time (e.g. due to a current legal dispute against the owner of a user account), the data will be deleted after expiry of the storage obligation or legal entitlement.

The data associated with a customer account is stored until the customer account is deleted. If we are legally obliged to store data for a longer period of time (e.g. to fulfil accounting obligations) or legally entitled to store data for a longer period of time (e.g. due to an ongoing legal dispute against the owner of a user account), the deletion will take place after the storage obligation or legal entitlement has expired. Insofar as legal recording and storage obligations (e.g. storage of invoices according to tax law) exist due to the processing of a contract, the legal basis for processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 c) GDPR.

If you send us a message via one of the contact options offered, we will use the data you provide to us to process your request. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in responding to your request in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 f) DSGVO. If your inquiry is used for the conclusion of a contract with us, additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 b) DSGVO. The data will be deleted after your request has been completed. If we are obliged by law to store data for a longer period of time, the data will be deleted after expiry of the corresponding period. 

USE OF COOKIES

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your end device when your browser calls up our website. The cookies we store are deleted by your browser when you leave our website.

We do not use cookies on the public pages of our website.

In the customer area of our website, we use a cookie with a storage period of 24 hours to operate the website technically, in particular to identify you as a registered user.

TRANSFER OF DATA

We transfer personal data to third parties, so far as this is necessary for the execution of the contract concluded with you (e.g. transfer to the payment service provider) or if we have decided to entrust third service providers with the execution of the contract with you.  As of today, this is the operator of the data center where we operate our service.

Right of access

According to Art. 15 GDPR, you have the right to ask us for confirmation whether personal data relating to you are being processed. If this is the case, you have a right to information about this personal data and to further information, which is mentioned in Art. 15 GDPR.


Right to rectification

Pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR, you have the right to demand immediate correction of inaccurate personal data concerning you. Furthermore, taking into account the purposes of the processing, you have the right to request the completion of incomplete personal data, including by means of a supplementary statement.


Right to erasure

You have the right to demand that we delete your personal data immediately. We are obliged to delete personal data immediately if the corresponding requirements of Art. 17 GDPR are met. Please refer to Art. 17 GDPR for details.

Right to restriction of processing

In accordance with Art. 18 GDPR, you have the right under certain conditions to demand that we restrict the processing of your personal data.

Right to data portability

Pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR, you have the right to receive the personal data that you have provided us in a structured, common and machine-readable format, and you have the right to transfer this data to another person without hindrance, provided that the processing is based on a consent pursuant to Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR or Article 9 (2) (a) GDPR or a contract pursuant to Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR and the processing is carried out by automated means.

Existence of a right of appeal to the supervisory authority

According to Art. 77 GDPR, without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to complain to the supervisory authority. This right shall apply, in particular, at the Member State of your place of residence, at your place of work or at the place of the alleged infringement, if you consider that the processing of the personal data concerning you is contrary to the GDPR.

Right of objection

Pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of personal data concerning you, which is based on Article 6 (1) (e) or (f) of the GDPR. this also applies to profiling based on these provisions.

If we process your personal data for the purpose of direct advertising, you have the right at any time to object to the processing of your personal data for the purposes of such advertising; this also applies to profiling insofar as it is associated with such direct advertising.
